Your Role:
The Overhaul Operations Manager is part of the global supply chain team and is responsible for complete management of the Overhaul shop. This would include assembly, testing, logistics, safety, and QC. While personally reporting to the President - North America, primary duties would include managing staff performance and development; all personnel decisions within the group; maintaining high standards of quality of the end products; evaluating and improving overall efficiency of departmental functions; participation in proper committees as the North American representative; and some travel, domestic and international, as necessary to visit clients.
This is an important position that will give you the opportunity to see your work on the global scale. This role requires someone who is proactive in maintaining/improving quality of department, can coordinate with staff and various departments, and will communicate well with global Overhaul shops.
Background Profile:
5
years of experience and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering is desired, though Electrical Engineering training is a plus
Experience in leadership and managing teams is required
Exposure to power generation equipment, high-speed rotating machines, diesel engines, and related equipment is highly desired.
Working knowledge of operating in an ERP system and usage of MS Office
Expertise in business management including budgeting, cost control, work preparation, and planning
