Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual with quickbooks and microsoft office experience to join our team as an Accounts Payable Clerk.
The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, account reconciliation, vendor communication and sub contractor compliance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both bookkeeping and accounts payable and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Duties:
- Process invoices daily - Verify the accuracy of invoices and resolve any discrepancies - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding issues - Prepare and process payments to vendors and subcontractors - Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions - Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper coding and approval of invoices - Assist with payroll management, including data entry and reconciliation - Support the AR team with technical accounting tasks as needed - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures - Experience with bookkeeping and accounts payable a plus - Proficient in account reconciliation techniques - Familiarity quickbooks desktop and microsoft office - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Knowledge of technical accounting principles is preferred - Basic understanding of human resources processes is a plus We offer competitive compensation packages and a supportive work environment.
